Description
Stagecoach Mary Fields Bad To The Bones 20130518poster
Mary Fields, also known as Stagecoach Mary (c. 1832 - 1914), was the first African-American woman employed as a mail carrier in the United States, and just the second American woman to work for the United States Postal Service. Fields stood 6 feet (182 cm) tall and weighed about 200 lbs (90kg), and liked to smoke cigars. She usually had a pistol strapped under her apron and a jug of whiskey by her side. -Wikipedia
"Mary lived to become one of the freest souls ever to draw a breath, or a .38... She usually had a pistol strapped under her apron and a jug of whiskey by her side." -Judy Alter
Poster Style photo art have simple color schemes using a modern minimalist style where the emphasis is on the concept and message of the subject of the artwork in the tradition of master poster artists throughout the world. Edges of color areas are kept rough, some transitioning into textured dots and grains exemplifying traditional poster artwork of the past. Zoom in on an area of the image to see the artistry of this style. This type of artwork would look terrific on a large canvas or as a framed print, and a print on any other media would look just as stunning!
